Micromaster frequency converters

The family of MICROMASTER frequency inverters address drive applications in the power range extending from 0.12 kW up to 250 kW. From simple applications with voltage-frequency control (V/f control) or complex applications with closed-loop vector control and encoder feedback.

Micromaster 420

These are simple converters for outputs of 0,12kW – 11kW, available both with single-phase and with three-phase input.

In the field of converters with three-phase input, this product represents the cheapest solution suitable for all applications where is not required possibility of vector control. Typically drives of pumps, fans, conveyors and other dynamically demanding applications are at stake.

In the case of single-phase input requirement, this frequenter can be mostly replaced with frequenter of Sinamics G110 series, with even more favourable price.

Standard range of fixings is available, including line and motor chokes, various types of communication interfacings, filters and others.

Micromaster 430

Special series of converters designed for driving pumps and fans, covers output power range of 7,5kW – 250kW ((LO - low-overload).

Converters of this series are available at the very favourable prices and dispose of functions usable in full to control pumps and fans. We can give an example of pump cascade control or of converters bypassing during driving run under nominal speed. Protective function of motor shaft control protects your pumps against idle cycles, also in case of pulley rupture, for example.

Micromaster 440

These converters with vector control system possibility are the most equipped Siemens converters for standard drives field.

Designs with single-phase input (1AC200-240V) and variety of designs with three-phase input (3AC200-240V, 3AC380-480V and 3AC500-600V), with power outputs up to 200kW in HO mode and up to 250kW in LO mode are available.

Reverse speed under vector mode is conveyed through secondary module called Encoder.

The whole range of drive control method is available, as for example already mentioned vector control either with or without reverse speed system, linear or quadratic characteristic, FCC regulation, moment control and so on.

Only this top series enables integration of brake resistance for effective drive inhibition.

Wide range of fixings is available again, including chokes, filters, communication interfacings and others.

Presently, new generation of frequency converters under Sinamics G120 marking is being introduced to the market and will gradually replace Micromaster 440 series. Detailed info you can find in Sinamics section.
